FAQ's
What is Blood On The Clocktower?
Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game played with 7 to 15 people. If you have ever played Mafia, Werewolf, Among Us, Secret Hitler or Avalon, it is like those games - but on steroids! There is a good team and an evil team: The good team are in the dark, and don’t know who each other are. They must attempt to figure out who they can trust and execute those they think are evil. The evil team are in cahoots - they work together to blend in, deceive the good team and attempt to pick them off one by one.
Mafia is Boring. There are barely any fun roles and dying first sucks. How is this game different?
Blood on the Clocktower fixes every problem that traditional social deduction games have. To begin, there are no passive players: EVERYBODY gets a super fun role with a unique ability. If you die, you don’t have to sit there in silence like usual. You can still talk and influence the game just like any living player. In fact, sometimes you want to die, as that is how your unique ability is activated! The game also encourages getting out of your seat and moving around, engaging in separate discussions with people you trust (or your evil teammates!)
I am a complete beginner. Is this for me?
People with all levels of experience - first-time players to seasoned veterans are welcome! It is super easy to pick up; most beginners get the hang of it after one or two playthroughs. Furthermore, there is an experienced ‘Storyteller’ running the game that can answer any question that may arise.
This FAQ sucked and didn’t answer the question I had. Where can I ask a question?
